Description:
1961 with apprx a 440 hr factory reman IO520D.
It’s got about 7300 on the airframe but you would never know it as it has had excellent maintenance most of its life. Airframe is tight and straight, no corrosion, and has been zinc chromated. There has been logged accident history long ago I think from wing damage in a ground loop but it was expertly repaired. New paint in 2016.
It has about every mod you’d want… factory float kit, installed hydraulic wheel-ski kit, Horton STOL, flat floor extended baggage, tail pulls, led bulbs, new leather seats, nice wool headliner, selkirk interior (a bit cosmetically tired but not bad at all), Pponk gear mod, Scott tailwheel, 8.50 tires (almost new), newer fuel sending units, 2 Monarch fuel caps/wing, Continental tuned injectors.
All compressions excellent around mid/upper 70’s. Annual just completed in April. Oil analysis are exc as well as boreoscopes of cylinders.
I put 10k in radios mods… A Lynx NGT9000 Adsb-out, new Garmin audio panel plus Garmin com in addition to the G430 nav/com. Also has a EI engine analyzer and 4 place intercom and a fuel totalizer.
Also I did a extensive rebuild of the tail section 2 winters ago to address the tail AD, and installed new McFarlane Horizontal Stab jack screws. New left wing fuel bladder installed 2023. Annualed 4/2026. All compressions excellent
