Draggin’ Tail Pilots is a 30-member flying club serving Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, and Northern West Virginia. The club operates two 1952 Cessna 170Bs—one equipped for basic IFR flying and the other fully IFR equipped. Five club instructors provide training for tailwheel endorsements as well as private pilot, commercial pilot, instrument, and flight instructor certificates and ratings. Aircraft rental is billed by tach time rather than Hobbs time, helping members keep flying costs down. A club buy-in and membership are required.
