About Taildraggers.com
Taildraggers.com is a place for people who love flying tailwheel airplanes and for those who want to learn. Kevin, Zack, Boomer, and Michael founded the site at Sun ’n Fun in 2025 with a simple goal: promote and encourage tailwheel flying, preserve its culture, and build useful resources for the people who enjoy it.
Our social media celebrates the airplanes and, more importantly, the pilots who make the tailwheel community special. Our marketplace brings buyers and sellers together, whether they’re looking for a Cub or Champ, a backcountry airplane, an aerobatic machine, a warbird, or a homebuilt.
But buying and selling airplanes is only part of what we want Taildraggers.com to be. We want to help pilots find instructors, discover places to train, share their flying, learn from one another, and connect with people who understand why tailwheel flying is so rewarding and why its traditions are worth passing on to the next generation.
Whether you have thousands of tailwheel hours, are still figuring out what to do with your feet, or simply have the desire to give tailwheel flying a try, you’re welcome here. If you have an airplane to list, a photo or story to share, or an idea that could help the tailwheel community, we’d love to hear from you.
