This 1995 Van’s RV-4 is a great flying aircraft powered by a 150 HP O-320-E2D engine with 715 hours since major overhaul (SMOH) and 824 hours on the airframe. Engine compressions are in the mid to high 70s. It features a PAC P-Tip wood prop with a carbon fiber wrap, overhauled Slick mags (July), upgraded aluminum brake lines, and a new left fuel tank.
The avionics include ADS-B Out, a Garmin transponder (installed in July), Dynon D-180 EFIS, Bendix radio, and a Lowrance Airmap 1000 GPS. The canopy has a crack in the rear right and doesn’t fit flush, but it latches securely and is safe to fly.
This RV-4 cruises at 150 TAS while burning just 7.7 GPH, making it an ideal commuter aircraft.
