This 1990 Vans RV-6 tip-up canopy model is equipped with a full Garmin glass suite and autopilot, making it an excellent IFR-capable aircraft. The airframe has approximately 750 total hours, and the 160HP Lycoming O-320E2A engine, rebuilt by Western Skyways, has around 100 hours since overhaul (time increasing as it’s actively flown).
Avionics include dual 10” Garmin G3X displays, a G5 backup instrument, GNX-375 IFR GPS/transponder, and Garmin autopilot. Additional features include Oregon Aero seats, an Infinity Aerospace military-style control grip, a Kroeger sunshade, manual flaps and roll trim, electric pitch trim on the grip, an SPRL fuel selector, a new 406 MHz ELT, and side throttle and mixture controls.
