This 1976 Maule M-5-210C is a versatile and well-equipped aircraft, perfect for backcountry flying or casual trips. With 1,338 total airframe and engine hours since new, and 428 hours since top overhaul, the aircraft is in excellent condition with no damage history or corrosion. It has a useful load of 1,081 lbs and includes multiple STCs and modifications.
Avionics include a Garmin G5, JPI 700 with fuel flow, and an Apollo SL30 with King LOC/ILS head. Recent upgrades include a gross weight increase to 2,500 lbs, GAMI injectors, and a Hartzell starter. Compression test results for all cylinders range from 72/80 to 76/80.
The aircraft features Alaska 10-inch wheels, Airframes Alaska extended landing gear (STC SA2218SE), and an Airframes Alaska tailwheel (STC SA01233SE). The exterior was fully repainted in 2019 after being scuffed, stripped, and primed as needed. New Oratex 6000 fabric was applied to the horizontal stabilizer and elevators, with components media blasted and powder-coated in white.
