This 1950 Piper PA-20 Pacer is an Experimental Exhibition aircraft with just 1,500 total hours and a 50-hour SMOH (completed 2/24) by Performance Air. The engine features 10:1 compression, flowed and balanced cylinders, and electronic ignition. It is paired with a 100-hour SNEW (2/24) 82″ Whirlwind ground-adjustable prop.
The aircraft was recovered and painted in 1998, with the fabric and paint still in excellent condition. It is equipped with a Dakota Cub 4-position fuel selector, Earth X battery, Steve’s gascolator, TK1 Shock Monster suspension, extended heavy-duty landing gear with fueling steps, and TK1 Ultimate tail spring and tire. Additional modifications include 31″ Alaska Bushwheel tires, Eddy Trimmer single-sided yokes, an EZ Flap handle, vortex generators (VGs) on extended wings, Carbon Concepts leading-edge slats, Grove master cylinders, LED landing lights, and PA-18 tail surfaces (20 inches longer than stock).
