Description:
1944 Stinson V77 – $190,000 – This 1944 Stinson V77 “Gullwing” is a fully restored, award-winning aircraft with rich historical significance. Painstakingly rebuilt over seven years by a skilled craftsman, the restoration was completed in 2006 to as-new condition. Upgrades include new safety glass windows, a second roll-up co-pilot window, and a fully refurbished interior featuring leather seats, a new headliner, and sidewalls. The aircraft is a three-time National Award Winner at the Antique Airplane Association Fly-In in Ohio.
Powered by a Lycoming R680-13 radial engine with only 52 hours since major overhaul, the airframe has 883 total hours. The restoration also included an STC upgrade to Cleveland brakes, custom leather-wrapped yokes, and additional modern enhancements such as a Garmin SL40 radio, GTX330A transponder, and a removable Garmin 496 GPS. The aircraft is equipped with complete avionics for VFR flight and includes historical documents, original manuals, and full logbooks since 1946.
This iconic aircraft, originally built as the AT-19 for military use under the Lend-Lease Act, was later converted by Stinson into the five-place V77 executive transport. It is in exceptional condition, always hangared, and ready for its next owner. Located in Agua Dulce, CA. Contact Doug Abney at 661-268-8835 for more information.
